Handlr attended the Havering Startup Showcase at Havering Town Hall last night. The event saw a fantastic showcase filled with Havering’s budding entrepreneurs. From healthy baby food to women’s empowerment coaching, Havering really is home to some great ideas.
Sponsored by the mayor of London and the Havering Council, and hosted by Enterprise Nation, the Havering Startup Showcase was a great evening where small businesses could network and show off their brand.
Enterprise Nation’s Emma Jones and Havering Council’s Sarah Moss spoke about how important it is for local businesses to engage with each other. This is especially true for Havering as the majority of businesses in the borough are small. The evening was a great way to celebrate and bring small businesses together.
